Give me a break -- $10 says 1700 scientists wanted to make a name for themselves and/or needed funding for something... so they endorsed Kendall in spite of their better judgement.
The world is fine. We aren't going to die. To quote the brilliant mind of Mark Steyn: "Bet on mankind every time".
Are you really a doomsday believer? Do you not think that at least a few of the 5 billion people on this planet haven't decided to figure out a "Plan B" in case this planet earth becomes the slightest bit inhabitable? Or do you believe that every scientist out there is spending his/her time signing petitions or letters agreeing that: “ya, we suck – we’re doomed”
With all due respect to the late Mr. Kendall - it's kind of counter-active of him to spend the time to write the letter when he could've been working on a solution. I’m just putting that out there. In fact, here's some advice to all you kids out there: Instead of bringing a problem to the table: bring a solution.
